For over seventeen years April Wade has worked in the both the private and public sectors and with a broad array of industries including Uranium Resources, Inc. and Louisiana Energy Services.

Ms. Wade served as Vice President, Communications and Government Affairs for Uranium Resources, Inc., a uranium producer with extensive holdings in Texas and New Mexico. In this position, she oversaw the company’s public affairs programs in Texas, New Mexico and Washington, DC.  She served as the Communications Director for Louisiana Energy Services (LES), a URENCO company.  LES was the first major nuclear facility to be licensed in more than 30 years and the first ever to receive a combined construction and operating license from the Nuclear Regulatory Committee.

Ms. Wade also spent three years in private practice with DW Turner Communications doing public relations and public affairs work – specializing in corporate clients such as Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, Devon Energy, the National Enrichment Facility, the New Mexico Oil & Gas Association and Phillip Morris (Altria).

Her early experience includes positions with former United States Representative from New Mexico Heather Wilson, and the Republican Party of New Mexico.
